Hear how the Indiana Chamber is partnering with Western Governors University, and how CAEL is partnering with a wide range of partners in Pittsburgh, to build a skills based talent marketplace that connects residents to high wage careers and helps employers find the workers they need. This fast paced session highlights practical models chambers can use now to drive economic mobility and regional growth.


 

 

Dr. Beth Doyle serves as Chief of Higher Education Strategy and Impact at CAEL. She was recently named to the Learning Evaluation and Recognition for the Next Generation (LEARN) commission by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), continuing CAEL's work to support credit mobility for adult learners as they transfer between and amongst different higher education institutions and training, certifications, and apprenticeships.

Natalie Wenzler supports and scales partnerships, engages diverse stakeholders, and connects critical resources to launch strategic efforts in local, state, and national ecosystems. She is the Director of Partnerships and Training for the Institute for Workforce at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, focused on supporting employers to meet their talent needs. She has worked with hundreds of companies nationwide to improve their attraction and retention of talent through skills and building a connected talent process.

Darin R. Hobbs leads the Learning & Employment Records and Digital Credentials Ecosystem Development at Western Governors University (WGU). He has over 20 years of management and customer service experience in various professional, academic, and volunteer capacities. Darin is known for innovative solutions that create efficiencies within the work environment. Darin has devoted his career at WGU to transforming higher education for the benefit of all learner-earners.

Angela DeVere joined CAEL in 2022 and has the primary responsibility for the strategy and activities to grow and diversify CAEL membership, strengthen member relationships, and increase member engagement. She also supports CAEL's industry-education coalition partners and manages the coordination of CAEL’s involvement in other industry events. Before CAEL, DeVere served as Executive Director and Social Media Manager for the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce in Galena, Illinois.
