Propel: A Program for New Chamber CEOs
The Propel Cohort Program is designed to support those within the industry who are stepping into a CEO role for the first time. The program provides meaningful peer engagement, mentorship and targeted professional development. This unique opportunity gives new CEOs the tools, connections and insights to succeed as leaders in the industry.
Program Overview
Participants will engage in virtual and in-person sessions throughout the year. Here's what you can expect:
• Quarterly Virtual Connection Sessions: Join your peers to share successes, challenges and new ideas. Each quarterly connection will have a theme to guide the conversation, but participants are encouraged to bring any questions to the group. Calls will happen in September, December, February and May.
• Dedicated Virtual Discussion Forum: All participants will have access to an online discussion forum to share ideas and questions between virtual connection sessions.
• Exclusive Professional Development: Access four on-demand learning modules that cover key aspects of leadership, including:
• Working effectively with your board
• Navigating crisis communication
• Mastering nonprofit financials
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Mentorship: Connect with an experienced chamber CEO for 1:1 guidance and advice. Mentors will meet with participants four times throughout the program year.
• Coaching: Participants will have the option of scheduling one hour of 1:1 consulting with Sheree Anne Kelly, President & CEO of ACCE. There is no set agenda for this time, and participants can direct the conversation in whatever way is most helpful.
• Recommended Resources: Select from a curated list of recommended books, podcasts, blogs and articles to continue building your knowledge and skills.
